About MeI am a Digital Journalist (in training) at Brigham Young University. I am going to be a Senior starting in January and I am very excited to be graduating December 2016. I love ranting about the most random of topics and spending time with friends. If I am not with friends I am most likely in my room listening to music, and more often than not dancing around the room. I love all things media and have been obsessed with magazines since I was about 8 years old, if not before that. I have known since I was 12 that I was going to be a journalist, so I have had years to day dream about my ultimate dream of owning my own magazine for teenage girls!

My History |
I was born in London, England to an English father and a Irish mother, which made growing up a lot of fun. When I was twelve my family moved to the suburban world of Columbus, Ohio. I am pretty convinced that moving to America caused me to be more English but I have definitely adopted some American ways! I now joke that I am half English, a quarter Irish and a quarter American too. Even though I have lived in America for 10 years now I still have days when I really miss England and do not feel like I belong here in the US (I am sure I am not unique in the personal struggle of belonging!)

My Dreams |
One of my ultimate goals is to open my own magazine for teenage girls that is uplifting and inspiring. I want it to capture the voice of real girls and address the issues they face on a daily basis. I think that there are many issues that can be addressed in an age appropriate manner and that can be informative. Really, I just want to be a positive influence in the media in any way I can. I have worked hard to develop my talents and I know that so much good can be accomplished when the media is used for good. I love photography, design, writing and radio journalism a lot! I think that I would be happy in any area of the media as long as I can help produce inspiring media.
